Faction Fashions

So in honour of the Divergent movie premiering yesterday, this post will be dedicated to the style of the factions. If you don't know what a faction is, in Divergent, the world is divided into groups of people called "factions". Each one is based on a virtue: selflessness, intelligence, bravery, peacefulness, and honesty.

The post will hopefully inspire you or give you ideas on how to incorporate the factions into your everyday style. (Side note: this is the first time I've used Polyvore so hopefully I did an okay job of putting together each outfit)

Dauntless: The Brave
The Dauntless are the soldiers who guard the fence around the city. Their style is very edgy. Leather is a definite must in this look.
Colour of Dauntless: black

Amity: The Peaceful

The style of the Amity is very bohomian inspired. This look would be perfect for summer festivals.
Colours of Amity: red or yellow

Erudite: The Intelligent

I would describe the style of the Erudite as preppy-chic. This look would work well for interviews or school.
Colour of Erudite: blue

Candor: The Honest
For the members of Candor, they see everything as black and white. This is why they are good leaders in law.
Colours of Candor: black and white

Abnegation: The Selfless
This look is very classic and causal as Abnegation do not want to draw attention to themselves.
Colour of Abnegation: grey

These looks are very easy to wear and I hope you have fun incorporating the factions into your daily closet. I also hope you enjoy this post as much as I did making it. I'm very proud of this post so I hope you like it!

So one thing you should know about me is that I am absolutely obsessed with hair. I love hair of all styles and colours! I especially have a weakness for coloured ombre hair seeing as though I have blue ombre hair myself.

My name is Abby and welcome to my blog.

So I finally decided to start my own blog after being an avid reader and follower of multiple blogs. My blogger friend also inspired me and suggested that I start it during my Spring Break now that I have all this free time (thanks Janine!).

In summary, this will be a place where I share my thoughts, what inspires me, and basically any content that I like.
